Attention North Carolina Customers
Beginning September 1, the state excise tax on cigarettes will increase from $3.50 per carton to $4.50, and the staTe excise tax on "other tobacco products" will increase to 12.8 percent of the cost price of the products.
PLEASE NOTE: RETAILERS ARE NOT SUBJECT TO THE FLOOR STOCKS TAX.
